When the air temperature is colder than the water temperature, a sea mist or “smoke” effect can create a wonderful mood. The first sunrise of 2018 early New Year’s Day, the sea water was freezing over *and* the air temperature was still even colder, so I was incredibly lucky to capture sea ice, sea smoke and amazing sunrise light all in one image.
